Wat U Makin Jamaican in Aberdeen

If you people think this is real jerk chicken then that says you've never had real jerk chicken. $11.61 for a large jerk chicken with two and a half pieces of dry chicken and plain unflavored rice. I was expecting so much more. Very disappointed and I can see why I was the only one there. Very bland food and I'm kind of glad they didn't give me more. That just would have been more food in the garbage.

It was OK! I am from Queens, NYC so I'm used to eating quality Caribbean dishes especially in the Richmond Hill/Liberty Ave area of Queens. The food is definitely overly spicy and more like a pile of slop (ordered the chicken curry dish w/cabbage & rice). Buy hey, Caribbean food is spicy in general so why eat there if you are going to complain about it being spicy ya know?! I DO love their Jamaican beef patties and coco bread :o) Those at leas aren't spicy.. I will definitely be back for more of those!

Very good Jamaican food.

Every time I have gone (3 times) I was warmly greeted with lovely grins. I order ahead of time and pick up. It is best to call ahead of time, because I have found them to be rather laggard with service. Otherwise, they are charming.

I had the curry chicken with cabbage, plantains, and beans and rice. I should have known something wasnt going to be right by the fact that no inviting aroma was coming from the business when i pulled up OR the inside when i walked in OR the bag when i got my food! It smelled like chicken waiting to get cooked but i was hungry and on a 30 minute lunch break so i still hoped the taste would surprise me. NOT! All of it was flavorless! THE ONLY THING CLOSE TO CURRY WAS THE COLOR OF THE FOOD! I called to complain and received a full refund! Word to the WISE, dont be FOOLED by all the decorativeness and festive Jamaicanism they have plastered all around the place. #ItIsFraudulent

I am not a fan of spicy food however the food is REALLY good so good I have turned others onto and they like it. I have tried jerk chicken 1st it was very very good but i will save that one for you real spicy eaters out there! The next one i tried was curry it was not spicy like the jerk so i will be getting the curry. The people are very friendly and professional, if you call it in it will be ready when you go pick it up (most times) and they give you alot of food (definitely worth the $ you spend). I would eat there everday! IR at least evertime i eat out i go here instead of any other fast food restaurant!I have never had a problem however I kniw they would handle any problem in a professional manner; they value their customers whether you have visited for the first time or many times! I usually do not take the time to give reviews however they do deserve it!Thank you for your wonderful service!

Received plenty of smiles and a handshake upon walking in my first time. Ordered the small jerk chicken from a sweet, young lady. Portions were very good and the food was ready in about 5 minutes. I was completely blown away!! The food was amazing and the people were awesome!! I will be back soon!! Thank you so much for the great lunch!!

The jerk chicken platter was very good. Large has 4 pieces of chicken, rice and beans and cabbage. Plenty of food and good flavor.

I can't say it enough. If you want real Jamaican food and good curry chicken or ox tails... It is a must try. Best in maryland for sure

Authentic Jamaican food served with a smile. The flavors are what Jamaican food is supposed to taste. Not for those who don't like food with a bit if a kick. Sorrel is as good as Mom's

Excellent food with quick and polite service. A wide and varied menu, which means sometimes they run out of food but there are plenty of acceptable substitutes on the menu.

Very impressed with how much you can get for the money.....Super delicious vegan options.

Their french fries are the best in town. Who knew?
